KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather and light rain/drizzle for Karachi and its surroundings on Tuesday.
According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting the upper parts of Pakistan. It is likely to prevail during the next 24 hours.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province on Monday evening night and Tuesday.
Partly cloudy weather is likely in Karachi and adjoining areas on Monday evening/night.
On Tuesday, light rain/drizzle is likely in Karachi and surrounding areas.
Fog will likely occur at isolated places in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad and Mohenjodharo during morning and night hours.
Karachi’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 17-19 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, cloudy weather with rains occurred in Karachi and Hyderabad during the last 24 hours.

Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 05 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 100 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 80 per cent.
