Mohmand tribe welcomes jirga system under ADR

The tribal elders of merged Mohmand distrit have welcomed the government’s decision to revive national jirga system (Qaumi Jirga) through implementation of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to resolve disputes amicably under local customs and traditions.

These views were expressed by the leaders of Mohmand Grand Jirga, Malik Sahib Dad Halimzai, Malik Nadir Manan and Malik Ayaz Halimzai while addressing a press conference here Thursday along with the elders of all tribes including Khoizai, Baizai, Atmankhel, Safi, Turkzai and Halimzai.
