Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) conducted 7,356 successful dialysis sessions in little over eight months, an official communiqué said on Friday.
From January to September 7, 2023, a remarkable 7,356 successful dialysis sessions were conducted, said Dr. Adnan Akhtar, the In-charge of the Dialysis Unit.
He outlined their extensive schedule, which entails offering dialysis services in three sessions, six days a week, amounting to an impressive 42 dialysis sessions daily. Moreover, he noted that among the 14 dialysis machines currently in operation, four are exclusively allocated to patients with Hepatitis C (HCV) . He said an important development in MMC’s dialysis services was the relocation of the ward to a renovated building.
