MIT takes important decisions for patients care

The newly appointed Board of Governors of Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Mardan held its maiden meeting in Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) here on Saturday and took some important decisions concerning patient care. The Chairman BoG Mr Attaullah Khan Toru chaired the meeting held in the committee room of administration block of MMC.

BoG members including Dr Muhammad Fazl-e-Qadir, Muhammad Fahim, Muhammad Arshad, Dr Sabina Aziz and Nadeem Anwar attended the meeting where in Dean BKMC Prof Dr Muhammad Abbas, Medical Director Prof dr Imad Hameed, Hospital Director Dr Abdul Jamil, Secretary to BoG Azhar Khan, Finance Director Muhammad Sheraz and Manager IT Mohsin Ali were also present. The chairman BoG said that the board has decided in principal to follow the established rules, regulations and principals in carrying out official duties and making decisions.

He said that he want the institution to flourish and maximum possible services are provided to patients. Hospital Director Dr Abdul Jamil shared details about MTI Mardan and constituent units, saying that MTI consist of MMC, BKMC, BBCH, BKCD, Nursing College and College of Medical Technologies. He informed the BoG members about various ongoing, completed and future development projects.
