Minister stresses for development of agriculture

Provincial Minister for Agriculture Mir Asadullah Baloch said that all available resources would be utilized to improve Agriculture Sector which was important for boosting of economic of the province.

He also said the field Assistant offi-cers of the agriculture department should correct their attitude with farmers otherwise complaints are received against someone, departmental legal action would be take against him.

The Minister expressed these views while addressing a briefing on Agricul-ture Engineering Department given by DG Agricul-ture Syed Bashir Ahmed Agha. Secretary Agricul-ture Umaid Ali Khokhar was also present on the occasion.

DG Agriculture Syed Bashir Ahmad Agha said at present, the Department of Agricultural En-gineers has 2492 employees of Grades including 20, 19, 18, 17 and grades of 16 officers, while Grade 1 to 15 with a total number of 2855 employees were being worked in the same Department.

Panjgur where thousands of students could pursue higher education, adding, students of Washuk, Nag, Basima and Kharan would also be facilitated through it.—Agencies
