Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan, a non-profitable non-governmental organisation (NGO), on Friday handed over 21 truckloads of relief goods and edible items to Afghan officials at Torkham in district Khyber district.
The relief goods comprising winter clothing and other necessary items were given to Afghan officials under Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum.
Central Chairman of Al Khidmat Foundation, Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, provincial president of Al Khidmat Foundation, Dr Sameeullah handed over the relief goods to the in charge of Internally Displaced Persons Afghanistan, Maulana Sheraz.It merits to mention that Al Khidmat Foundation has, so far, handed over 65 truckloads of 600 tons relief goods worth 160 million rupees to Afghan people at Angoor Adda border crossing.
The Afghan government has appreciated the Pakistan government and AL Khidmat Foundation for their efforts to provide help and relief to Afghan people in this hour of need. —TLTP
