Minister seeks altruists help to fight eye diseases

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid expressed the resolve to develop partnerships with philanthropist organizations for the support of blind persons. She was speaking at the Awareness Conference organized by the Mayo Hospital Ophthalmology Department in connection with World Sight Day here on Saturday.
Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Prof Khalid Masood Gondal, CEO Mayo Hospital Prof Asad Aslam Khan, Medical Superintendent Mayo Hospital Dr. Tahir Khalil, Dr. Latif, Prof Dr. Ayesha Shaukat, representatives of welfare and philanthropists organizations and a large number of students attended the event.
CEO Mayo Hospital Dr. Asad Aslam Khan underscored the importance of World Sight Day and thanked the Health Minister for her participation. Other speakers paid tribute to Dr. Yasmin Rashid for her immense services during the Corona Pandemic.
