Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal on Saturday visited Chauburji Quarters ground and Dungi ground Samanabad where he reviewed the rehabilitation work of the both grounds and pace of work being done there.
Secretary I&C Ehsan Bhatta, DG LDA Ahmed Aziz Tarar, Chief Engineer LDA and Directors of PHA were also present.
While talking to media, Provincial Minister said that The Chauburji Quarters ground has been in a bad condition for the last six years.
This important ground was being used as a dumping station for the metro project. He said The Chauburji Quarters Ground will be fully restored in the next one and a half months MA O’College Ground, which has been useless for the last20 years, has also been restored, he said.
Improvement and rehabilitation work of all the grounds of Provincial constituency 151 is in full swing, we are grateful to Chief Minister Usman Bazdar for the provision of funds for the rehabilitation of the grounds.
Provincial minister while talking to the people at Dungi Ground Samanabad said that 3.94% growth rate of the economy is the result of the hard work of the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The national economy is improving while the economy of looters of national resources is sinking.
The PML-N is not concerned about the country but it is worry due to its own sinking economy, the provincial minister added.
The PML-N did not allow the welfare schemes of the poor to be completed for many years due to personal obstinacy but The PTI government has also completed 8,000 schemes of previous governments.
Mian Aslam Iqbal said The PML-N, which makes false claims of development, put Punjab under heavy debt of Rs. 1,200 billion.
It is worth mentioning that with the growth rate claiming more than 5%, the country’s exports came down to 18 billion dollars while exports despite Covid are more than 25 billion dollars in the PTI era, while growth rate is at 3. 94%. He said more than Rs 56 billion in tax relief was given to the business community during the Covid.
The budget of the province for the new financial year is a reflection of the aspirations of the people and the historic annual development program of Rs. 560 billion will usher in a new era of development in Punjab, he concluded.
