LAHORE – Meezan Bank is the first and largest Islamic bank in Pakistan with a paid-up capital of Rs. 17.91 billion. It is also termed as the fastest growing financial institutions in the banking sector of the country.
With its Vision of establishing ‘Islamic banking as banking of first choice …’ – the First Islamic Bank commenced operations in 2002, after being issued the first-ever Islamic commercial banking licence by the State Bank of Pakistan.
The bank issues schedule of charges biannually under which charges on ATM and other services are collected from the customers. Meezan Bank last issued the schedule in January 2024 and it is applicable till June 30, 2024.
Meezan Bank Debit Card or ATM card customers can now simply ‘ Tap and Pay ‘ at payment counters of all NFC enabled merchants across the globe along with additional security of EMV or chip card technology.
“With a Meezan Visa Debit Card, you have access to your account wherever you are, whenever you want, wherever you see the Visa symbol. The money is deducted from your balance straight away — there is no interest to pay, no bills & no late fees,” reads official blog.
