An administrative meeting for the well-known festival of Sikh religion Vesakhi Mela 2024 was held under the chairmanship of Pradhan Pakistan Sikh Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee and Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Punjab Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora in which Secretary Evacuee Trust Property Board Farid Iqbal, Additional Secretary Shirains Rana Shahid Saleem, Additional Secretary Admin Sanaullah.
Khan, Deputy Secretary Admin Kartarpur Saifullah Khokhar, Board Spokesman Amir Hussain Hashmi including Lahore and Hasan Abdal and various administrative and police officers besides Railway, FIA Interior and Foreign Affairs, Sui Gas, Health and various other administrative affairs.
Officers attended. Board’s Additional Secretary Shireins Rana Shahid gave a complete briefing about the arrangements for the Vaisakhi Mela and Khalsa Janam Day celebrations and the schedule of pilgrims and all the arrangements for the Mela.
Secretary Board Farid Iqbal says that in the light of the orders of Chairman Board Arshad Farid Khan, foolproof arrangements are being made for the pilgrims and Sikh pilgrims coming from all over the world including India are being provided food, accommodation, medical and security by the Trust Board.
Facilities will be provided. Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs of Punjab and Pradhan PSGPC Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that the guests coming from abroad will return with love from Pakistan.
In this regard, the federal and provincial governments are also taking steps. According to the Sikh pilgrims will reach Pakistan on April 13 through Wagah check post, after which they will be sent to Hasan Abdal under tight security by special trains.
On April 14, Khalsa Janam Day and Vesakhi Mela will be held at Gurudwara Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal. The pilgrims will return to India on April 22 after completing the 10-day pilgrimage.
