Medical Staff at forefront for suffering humanity: Prof Zafar

Post Graduate Medical Institute &AmeerUddin Medical College Principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-FareedZafar said on Monday that during the holidays, more than 15 thousand patients were treated in the Emergency Department of Lahore General Hospital.

According to the details, all treatment facilities were extended free of cost without any slip fee.

This was expressed by Prof. Al-FareedZafar while presiding over a meeting at LGH, where MS Prof. Dr. NudratSohail and other administrative doctors were also present and the details of the treatment facilities provided to the patients were discussed in the meeting.

Prof. Al-FareedZafar expressed his satisfaction and appreciated the efforts of all the faculty members, MS Dr. NudratSohail and professors who performed their duties efficiently to ensure uninterrupted treatment facilities to the patients who came to the hospital from April 9 to April 14.

He also expressed the hope that in the future, In ShaAllah, arrangements will be made in a more proper manner during the holidays of such special religious festivals so that the people having problems to come to the hospital do not face any kind of issues.

MS LGH Prof. Dr. NudratSohail while briefing the participants of the meeting told that during the holidays, 2955 x-rays, 1012 ultrasounds, 716 ECGs, 189 dialysis and 691 CT scans were done for free in the Hospital.

Prof. Al-FareedZafar added that it is our mission to provide the best medical facilities to the patients, LGH doctors, nurses and paramedics will continue their services to meet the expectations of the Government and the public and thus provide treatment to the citizens.
