LAHORE – The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) for the year 2024 is all set to take place on September 22 (Sunday), as per the PM&DC Act 2022.
This highly anticipated examination is essential for students aiming to embark on a rewarding career in the medical and dental fields in Pakistan.
The responsibility of conducting the MDCAT 2024 has been entrusted to public universities across the country.
The institutions which have been nominated by the relevant provincial and regional authorities to oversee the examination process are following:
Punjab
The University of Health Sciences, Lahore is responsible for holding MDCAT in Punjab.
Sindh
Dow University of Health Sciences’ Ojha Campus will conduct the MDCAT 2024 in Sindh.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, will hold MDCAT in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Balochistan
Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences, Quetta, is responsible for holding MDCAT in Balochistan.
Islamabad
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University has been nominated for holding MDCAT in Islamabad and Azad Kashmir.
Gilgit Baltistan
Karakuram International University, Gilgit will conduct the test in Gilgit-Baltistan. The list of the venues will be updated here as soon as it is available.
MDCAT 2024 Test Venues in Pakistan
MDCAT is set to be conducted in at least 30 venues nationwide across the country.
For MDCAT total of 174744 applications have been received from which after scrutiny PM&DC has finalised 167077 applications.
MDCAT is set to be conducted in at least 30 venues nationwide, including two international centers in Dubai and Riyadh, aspiring candidates have a significant opportunity to showcase their dedication and aptitude in the medical and dental domains.
