Maryam wants to get Shehbaz disqualified Sheikh Rashid claims Usman Buzdar not going anywhere

Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid on Saturday said disqualified Maryam Nawaz wanted to get Shehbaz Sharif disqualified as well.
Addressing a press conference here in the metropolis, the minister said it was the PML-N workers, who pelted stones at the NAB office. He was referring to the violent clash outside anti-graft body’s office about which Maryam has been saying it was an attempt to physically harm her.
When asked about any joint action by the opposition parties against the government, he said that JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman would be regret because of others, in case he takes a hard line. As the former prime minister’s daughter is known for her tougher stance on different political issues, Sheikh Rashid said the current status of Nawaz Sharif was only due to Maryam.
The opposition won’t get any NRO and the case of Hamza Shehbaz was serious, said the railways minister who has been predicting a tough time for the rival parties and their leaders. He added that the opposition would face defeat at the hands of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Sh Rashid also revealed that the misunderstandings had been resolved with Saudi Arabia, adding that Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and ISI DG Lt-Gen Faiz would visit the Kingdom on Sunday.
In response to a question about establishment of diplomatic ties between Israel and the UAE, Sh Rashid said he won’t make any comments on the subject. About the political affairs in Punjab and rumours about the change of guard in the province, the federal minister said Chief Minister Usman Buzdar wasn’t going anywhere. Imran was standing by him, he added.
PR GEARS UP TO RESTORE FIVE MORE TRAINS
The Pakistan Railways has decided to restore five more trains from August 17 under designed standard operating procedures (SOPs) after a decrease in coronavirus cases, reported a private TV channel on Saturday. According to a notification issued by the PR, Hazara, Farid, Rehman Baba, Mohen jo Daro and Badar Express will resume their operations from August 17.
Earlier, operations of Sir Syed Express, Rehman Baba Express, Hazara Express, Karachi Express and Shalimar Express were resumed by the Pakistan Railways. It may be noted that last month, Pakistan Railways had announced that routine train operation could be resumed in the country by the end of December 2020 while linking it with the improvement in the COVID-19 situation.
