Former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday filed a plea in an anti-terrorism court for dismissal of a case registered against her for an anti-state speech.

The Muslim League-N leader appeared in the court of judge Abhar Gul Khan. The former minister contended in her application that she had no role in the talk show and was not responsible for the conversation in the programme.

Marriyum Aurangzeb requested the court that she be acquitted in the case. Later, the court adjourned hearing for November 11.
