Mardan Police led by District Police Officer Mardan Dr. Zahidullah has fully active against anti-social elements, criminals and drug dealers during the year 2021 in anti-crime and anti-criminal cases.
2806 criminals arrested 580 facilitators of advertisements. During the counter-operations, 41,369 suspects were detained and challans were filed in the court.
The police arrested persons involved in various crimes and recovered from their possession 478 Kalashnikovs, 227 Kalakovs, 222 rifles, 491 guns, 7551 pistols and 160303 different bore cartridges, 02 hand grenades, 50 dynamite, 404 safety fuses and 89 detonators. After recovering, cases were registered against the accused.
During the operations against drug dealers, more than 1897 kg of hashish, more than 46 kg of heroin, more than 18 kg of opium, 811 liters of liquor and 33609 grams of ice were seized and cases were registered against the accused under the Narcotics Act.
During the operations due to security concerns, 1228 unregistered tenants were registered under the Tenants Act in the district while 438 cases were registered against unsatisfactory security arrangements during security audits of other business centers and important and sensitive places including public and private educational institutions.
Similarly, 1468 persons involved in aerial firing and fireworks involved in social and societal crimes, 13 persons under 3MPO / 16MPO, 07 persons under the Interest Act and 226 persons involved in land mafia were chained.
