An additional district and district court on Wednesday sent Dr Abdullah Harris, accused of making nude videos of lady doctors after intoxicating them, on judicial remand.
Judicial Magistrate Yousuf Abdul Rehman heard the case. Dr Abdullah Harris of Jinnah Hospital was produced in the court. The court sent the accused on judicial remand.
The accused was arrested by the FIA Cyber Crime wing. The investigators recovered more than 50 videos from the cellphone of the accused during the interrogation. After which the accused doctor was handed over to the police on judicial remand.
Dr Haris made a nude video of a nurse went viral on social media. The accused was arrested at the request of the victim and a case was registered against the accused by the FIA cyber-crime wing.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Health Department suspended the accused doctor.
The suspension orders were issued by Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department. The FIA Cybercrime Wing arrested the doctor on the complaint of a nurse.
The woman filed a complaint with the police against the doctor on October 4. According to the FIA, they arrested an accused named Dr Abdullah Haris during a raid at Jinnah Hospital over blackmailing female doctors and nurses by using her obscene videos and photos.
As per FIA, the culprit had been posting obscene clips of the victim from an unknown number. He used to blackmail and forced her to meet him to fulfil his sexual desires.
