A team of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) students volunteer society, headed by Dr. Muhammad Mairaj and Dr. Rizwan Ul Hassan, visited Bahadur Yar Jang Government Girls School and discussed their problems with Principal Ishrat Noor, teachers and students. While talking to girl’s students MAJU teachers emphasized upon the importance of education in a civilized society and advised them not to waste their time on social media and to give full attention to their educational activities. MAJU teachers appreciated the performance of talented girl’s students and acknowledge their role in socio economic development of the country. They told the students about increasing use of technology in each walk of life and asked them to use it for innovation and creative works. They also advised the students to avoid excessive use of mobile phone for unnecessary things and to take its benefit for improving their knowledge as being done in most of the developed societies. Later on MAJU student’s society distributed gifts among student and assured to take up their grievances with competent authorities.
