The Lahore Waste Management Company has prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure extraordinary cleanliness arrangements during Pakistan and New Zealand T20 series. As per the plan, the LWMC will complete all necessary arrangements before the series.
Washing of all the enclosures of Qaddafi Stadium will be completed between 13th to 22nd September.
For this purpose the department has deployed 180 sanitary workers, 27 supervisors and 17 officers for the cleanliness of the stadium from inner and outer side whereas 3 water browsers, 3 mechanical sweepers, 5 mini dumpers and a compactor will also be used for washing and sweeping of the stadium.
CEO LWMC Rafia Haider stated in this regard that Gaddafi Stadium operations managers will be present at the stadium for the Pakistan and New Zealand T20 series, and will monitor the cleanliness arrangements personally.
She stressed that all town managers should ensure washing of stadium, dusting of seats and cleaning of wash rooms as well.
There will be 4 male sanitary workers, 1 female sanitary worker and one sanitary supervisor in each enclosure, she added.
All managers should also ensure cleanliness of the parking lot around the stadium. She also said the cleanliness of the city is the topmost priority and the department will utilize all available resources in this regard.
