LWMC kicks off Khidmat Apki Dhehleez Par

The LWMC officially kicked off sanitation week in connection with Khidmat Apki Dhehleez Par.

The formal ceremony was organized at Food Street, Fort Road in which Commissioner Lahore, Capt (r) Muhammad Usman, Agha Qazalbash, Imam and Khateeb of Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Kabir Azad, Chairman LWMC Amjad Ali Awan and CEO Imran Ali Sultan along with workers attended the event.

The purpose of celebrating this ceremony was to revel the 3C’c Culture, Color, and Cleanliness of Lahore followed by the distribution of uniforms, shoes, masks and gloves.

On the Occasion Commissioner Lahore stated that cleanliness condition of the city has been improved tangibly which is quite evident from LWMC`s performance.

He further stated that Lahore is our city and we should maintain the cleanliness system instead of criticizing the workers.

Chairman LWMC acknowledged the efforts of all workers and officers followed by sharing the vision to transform Lahore into one of the cleanest cities of the world with prompt cooperation of Public.

Imam Khateeb Badshahi Masjid stated that maintaining cleanliness is the duty of every citizen. Everyone should play their role by proper disposal of solid waste in the city.

CEO LWMC Imran Ali Sultan appreciated the workers and made a promise to make the Lahore as the cleanest city of Pakistan

. He added that the department has proved itself as the best waste management company of Punjab. He further said that the especial cleanliness operations are being carried throughout the city in conjunction with Khidmat Apki Dhehleez Par program.

Citizens are also requested to play their civic responsibility and avoid littering. Incase of any complaint citizens can always dial LWMC helpline 1139 or can use Clean Lahore Mobile application.
