LWMC CEO monitors cleanliness arrangements

Lahore Waste Management Company is working robustly to make Lahore clean. In this regard, the cleanliness operation of LWMC starts at 5:00am.

In order to ensure timely collection of waste CEO LWMC Rafia Haider gave instructions to start manual sweeping by 4:00 am.

She paid visit to LWMC workshop early in the morning. During the visit she also visited different areas of the city including Ferozepur Road, Township, Kot Lakhpat, Qainchi and Naseerabad.

Rafia Hider expressed satisfaction over timely exit of 85 percent of the vehicles from the workshop.

She further emphasized against absent drivers, replacement staff should be sent to the field with an immediate effect. She added that strict action will be taken against any negligence.
Citizens are also requested to cooperate with the department and avoid littering.
