The Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed the writ petition No.4867/2020 of Dr Ahmad Raza Former District Emergency Officer against Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer.
The court judgment states that Dr Ahmad Raza is aggrieved by the decisions were taken by Rescue Punjab DG with respect to the disciplinary action taken against him on various different grounds and the learned counsel admitted that the services of the petitioner were terminated by DG.
Rescue Punjab Spokesperson Farooq Ahmad said that the LHC dismissed the petition against the DG as the judgment says that, “There are sufficient documents on file to show that the petitioner appears to have some personal grouse against Rescue DG which appears to be the motivating factor for filing the instant petition”.
He further highlighted that keeping in view the meritorious services of Rescue Punjab DG Dr Rizwan Naseer, his contract was extended by Punjab Emergency Council as per Section 9(3) of Punjab Emergency Service Act 2006 but a few unfit, incompetent and terminated officers are continuously trying to manipulate the facts to hide their incompetency and achieve their ulterior motives.
