LCWU okays online admission policy

The Lahore College Women University (LCWU) has finalized its online admission policy and will start the admission process from 9th of September.
The Lahore College for Women University is conducting its Admissions for Fall 2020 purely on Online basis in a paperless environment, the first time in the history of the University.
The Online Admissions are being announced in a total of 100 Programs by 40 Teaching Departments at Graduate and Post-graduate levels. The University is also commencing Online Admissions for Intermediate College in all the combinations from 11 th September.
This was decided in a meeting of online accreditation committee chaired by Dr Bushra Mirza Vice Chancellor LCWU. Deans, Directors and other relevant officials were also present at the meeting.
“The pandemic has badly affected the education sector. It is necessary to shift towards alternative methods,” Dr Bushra Mirza said on the occasion, adding that efforts made by LCWU in the wake of the COVID 19 outbreak were appreciated and it was hoped that online admission policy will be helpful to restore the academic process.
The University is going to announce Online Admissions at Intermediate, BS, MS / M Phil and PhD levels for all the Programs including Professional Degree Programs like Computer Science, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, City & Regional Planning and Pharmacy.
