Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for local government, elections and rural development, Shahram Tarakai, has said that local bodies department took concrete measures for provincial development in the previous year. New system of local government, good governance steps, Peshawar and other big cities’ uplift and beautification programs, traffic management system for provincial capital, initiation of Clean KP my dream KP program for the province and rules and regulations for various attached departments are part of it. Local bodies department has also taken strong measures to improve the system of newly merged districts. The provincial minister of local bodies shared this information with the media on the occasion of press briefing on one year performance of local government department.
