LAHORE – The market prices for broiler chicken and farm eggs have experienced significant changes.
The cost of broiler chicken meat per kilogram has seen a reduction of Rs22, bringing it down to Rs.580 on the city’s open market.
Similarly, the live broiler chicken prices have decreased by Rs.15, now standing at Rs.400.
In contrast, the price of farm eggs has witnessed a slight increase, with an additional 2 rupees, reaching Rs388 per dozen on a per-kilogram basis. The fluctuations are expected to impact the consumers and the poultry industry.
The inflation has already caused huge impact on the citizens as the prices of the items of the basic needs have touched the sky.
