Large drug shipment seized by Manchester police Zero tolerance against ‘the culprits’, vows Narcotics Minister

A large haul of drugs, containing 785kg of heroin and 250kg of Ketamine concealed in a consignment of rice was seized by the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) into the trafficking of Class-A drugs in the United Kingdom (UK).
The GMP apprehended a number of persons as they unloaded the container that had arrived at Felixstowe port.
The container No. TCLU 3838654 was transported from Port Qasim, Karachi and had arrived at Felixstowe port.
According to sources, the said consignment had been shipped by Super Foods Private Limited on GT Road in Muridke, Sheikupura.
The National Crime Agency, United Kingdom has requested public to provide any information relating to the unidentified persons using the telephone numbers and their associates that may help in identifying individuals involved in the crime.
According to sources the alleged “Super Foods Private Limited” is renowned for exporting huge chunks of rice and other commodities all over the globe and has established connections in Muscat, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Italy, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Russia, Sweden and Many other countries of the world.
Waqa Aslam is the chairman of the Super Food Private Limited. He has re-cently replaced Muhammad Aslam, former chairmen and CEO of the com-pany.
Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Brig (Retd) Ijaz Ahmad Shah while talking to Pakistan Observer vowed that “Zero tolerance policy would be adapted against the culprits involved in such heinous crime.” Brig (Retd) Ijaz Shah assured his complete support to ANF for addressing the inadequacies of the force to tackle the menace more vigorously.
