Mardan

Mardan area of Landake is deprived of basic amenities like gas and electricity even in the 21st century. About 300 households are forced to burn wood due to lack of gas and electricity.

Haji Muhammad Nazir, Attaullah Shah, and others said in the survey report. Despite living in a city like Mardan, they are not having basic amenities.

Lack of gas forces women to burn wood in their homes. Due to the smoke, the locals are suffering from various infectious diseases including respiratory diseases.

Expressing his views in the survey report, Haji Muhammad Nazir said that providing basic facilities to the people is one of the duties of elected representatives. But elected representatives do not take this seriously. These people come to vote during elections.

But after being elected, they turn a blind eye to the problems of the citizens. Which is abusive to the citizens of Landake. In the survey report, Haji Ataullah said that providing basic facilities to the citizens is one of the duties of the state. But here everything is reversed.

Political leaders remember the citizens here for voting during elections. But when these people go to these elected representatives to solve their problems.

Then they are dealt with reluctantly. He further said that the residents of the area have applied to their elected MPA Zahir Shah Toru many times. But they have also turned a blind eye to these issues. “We are also Pakistani citizens,” he said.
