LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 40 businesses during operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore on Tuesday.
The LDA teams sealed 15 premises in Gulshan-e-Ravi and another 25 in Shadman for not paying commercialization fees.
The sealed premises include Lahore Literati School, DUMx Broast, Joy Bee’s, food outlets and private offices.
Director Town Planning Zone-I Ayesha Mutahir supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
