LAHORE – A policeman in Punjab capital was sacked after being caught on camera as he refused to pay for honey from a roadside vendor.

As police personnel are required to follow standards of behavior while on duty, including stricter guidelines, the cop identified as Rasheed is facing potential dismissal from service after the clip surfaced online showing him refusing to pay for a honey bottle.
A clip surfaced online, showing officer taking honey from a roadside vendor against his will and assured to pay next time. The vendor can be heard asking for payment, which led to argument between two.
The video was widely shared online, prompting senior officials to respond. The suspended officer has been facing dismissal from service.
