A meeting was held to review art & culture related activities for the upcoming events on Friday at Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall.
The meeting was chaired by Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Athar Ali Khan. Addressing the briefing session, Ather Ali said that the purpose of this meeting was to put in our best efforts to promote the cultural activities of the Lahore Arts Council. During the meeting, it was decided to hold rich cultural events in spring to celebrate the festive season.
ED Athar Ali Khan said that the colorful “cultural festivals” will take place in March across the country, besides; a craft exhibition will also be decorated. Athar Ali Khan said that at these events, people of Lahore will have a chance to see its colorful traditions; these festivities will promote national harmony.
During the meeting, several suggestions were finalized for further improvements at Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts. Officials from all departments of Alhamra attended the meeting and highlighted the performance. The meeting also issued instructions to all the officers of the Alhamra to perform their duties vigorously.
