KW&SC conducts awareness walk on world water day

In observance of World Water Day, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC)  arranged an awareness walk from its central office to Shahrah-e-Faisal.

The walk was led by CEO KW&SC, Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, with the presence of notable officers including Muhammad Ayub Sheikh, Muhammad Saqib, Syed Imran Zaidi, Sikandar Zardari, Intikhab Rajput, Aftab Chandio, Sardar Shah, Allah Bakhsh Bhutto, Syed Aamir Waqar, Anjam Tauqeer, Bilal Zafar, and Dalawar Jafri.

Additionally, teachers and students from various schools participated in large numbers, waving the national flag and chanting vibrant slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” along the route. Following the walk, CEO KW&SC addressed the participants, expressing gratitude to all stakeholders, educators, and students. He emphasized the corporation’s commitment to ensuring water supply across the city to foster peace and harmony.

He stated that World Water Day is being celebrated globally, and the Water Corporation is marking the occasion under the theme “Water for Peace” with great enthusiasm. He thanked all attendees and extended heartfelt congratulations, highlighting the importance of ensuring water supply throughout the city to maintain peace. He stressed that where water is conserved, peace prevails, and urged the conservation of water as a religious, social, and national duty.
