In adherence to the special directives of KW&SC CEO Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed, officials from the Karachi Water & Sewerage Board have finalized comprehensive arrangements to ensure uninterrupted water supply and efficient sewerage services throughout the city for the upcoming general elections on February 8, 2024.
Spokesperson for KW&SC highlighted that the team has successfully addressed various drainage complaints in the vicinity of all polling stations across the city. Additionally, an ongoing initiative involves the rapid desalting, cleaning, and utilization of Jetting and Suction machines to maintain the integrity of sewage lines and manholes around potential polling stations. This proactive approach aims to guarantee a smooth electoral process without any disruptions to essential water and sewerage services.
The spokesperson of KW&SC said that the following the orders of CEO KW&SC, Jetting and Suction machines including water tankers will be present around the various polling stations on February 8 election day, so that the citizens do not face any kind of problem, while the KW&SC staff will also be present to deal with any complaints or emergencies.
He said that the KW&SC is working day and night to provide better water supply and sewerage facilities to the citizens, and in this regard, despite public holidays across the country, the staff of the KW&SC are busy performing their duties.
