The war of words between the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, representing Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur intensified with both the top functionaries of the province sparing no opportunity to ridicule and hurl threats to each other.
Governor Kundi on Saturday Challenged Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for an open debate asking Ali Amin to choose a channel of his choice and have a debate with him.
“Ali Amin Gandapur was left with no option but to use such language as he (Gandapur) wants to secure his job by using such language against the Pakistan People’s Party leadership,” Kundi said.
Gandapur had asked the Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to “stay within the limits” adding “If Faisal Karim Kundi does not stay within the limits, he will be thrown out on the streets”.
The chief minister had also warned to stop giving Faisal Karim Kundi petrol, food, and other benefits if he continues to criticize him.
Faisal Karim Kundi Saturday said that if Ali Amin Gandapur’s picture with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi comes out, he will have to answer to his party. “He (Ali Amin Gandapur) will be seen running away like he was seen fleeing from the highway the other day,” the governor said.
