KP merged tribal districts police to receive enhanced privileges

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat Khan has reiterated his commitment to providing all prevailing privileges to the police force with aim to bolstering the professionalism and welfare of police personnel in the merged tribal districts

During a meeting with a representative delegation of police from the merged districts at the Central Police Office in Peshawar, IGP Akhtar Hayat Khan emphasized the importance of developing the police force, enhancing personnel welfare, and making employment more attractive.

Key officials, including Additional Inspector General Headquarters Awal Khan, Capital City Police Officer Peshawar Syed Ashfaq Anwar, and AIG Amalgamated Districts Dr. Qureshi Khan, attended the meeting. The delegation raised various issues, including the need for specialized unit constables in CTD, FRP, Special Branch, and Elite Force to be allowed transfers and given stop pay due to non-attendance and other unavoidable reasons.
