Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali had a telephonic contact with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Wednesday and discussed the rain-affected relief and rehabilitation activities in the province.
The chief minister informed the governor about the relief activities and said that funds have been released for the victims and efforts are being made to ensure that no one is deprived of aid. The Governor proposed to the Chief Minister that NDMA, PDMA, Red Crescent and other aid agencies in the province and the district administration should jointly ensure public assistance and rehabilitation activities in the rain-affected districts so that with joint efforts rehabilitation and Relief work can be completed soon.
On this occasion, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur welcomed the governor’s proposal and said that joint relief and rehabilitation work is going on in the rain-affected districts with all the institutions and, God willing, the rehabilitation and relief activities will be completed soon with joint efforts. will be given. Chairman of the Red Crescent Administrative Districts Habib Malik Orkazai and Chairman Red Crescent Combined Districts Imran Wazir presented a detailed report to the governor regarding the loss of lives and property caused by the recent rains, relief and rehabilitation activities in the province. The Governor was informed that a comprehensive written report regarding the deaths, financial losses and the provision of food packages to the rain victims in the rain-affected districts of Peshawar, Charsadda, Swat, Chitral, Dir, Tank, Bajaur, Khyber.
