KP announces retake date of MDCAT 2023

PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced the re-conduct date for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2023) as the previous exam was marred by a cheating scandal.

As per the latest update, the provincial authorities announced a new date for the re-conduct of admission of MDCAT 2023.

On Tuesday, the authorities said the new exam will be held on November 26, 2023.

Khyber Medical University earlier proposed November 19, for the test, but the new date has been extended for a week.

Earlier in the day, officials foiled a huge cheating plot in tests for admission to MBBS, and BDS. Students who were using the Bluetooth device for copying were arrested red-handed.

Medical aspirants involved Bluetooth devices to cheat. Around 46,658 candidates have registered to participate in the upcoming MDCAT test, but over 219 candidates lost their registrations.
