KP allocats Rs1b to tackle coronavirus:Wazir

MIRANSHAH Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation, Mohammad Iqbal Wazir has said that the provincial government has allocated over one billion rupees to tackle coronavirus in the province. He stated this while speaking during a visit to the Quarantine Centers in Miran Shah and Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district on Wednesday. Iqbal Wazir said Relief, Rescue and PDMA staff are also on alert round the clock to deal with any emergency. He said that the government was taking all possible steps to control the coronavirus and all resources were being utilized to treat the affectees and to save the people of the epidemic. The minister also appealed the people to cooperate with the government, health authorities and administration making efforts to control the coronavirus.—INP
