Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Faraz-ur-Rehman has said that in collaboration with Bahria Town, Korangi wants to conduct a cleaning campaign in the industrial area. While Bahria Town can further improve the industrial area through its social activities.
He expressed these views in a conversation with a delegation of Bahria Town Real Estate Agents visiting under the direction of Shahid Mehmood Qureshi, to congratulate Faraz-ur-Rehman on taking charge as President of KATI.
He said that Malik Riaz, the founder of Bahria Town, had offered to clean the city in the past, for which KATI wanted to collaborate with him, while he also asked to mutually complete the Safe City project so that crimes in the city can be eliminated.
President KATI said that the Korangi Industrial Area wants to benefit from the CSR activities of Bahria Town. Faraz-ur-Rehman added that such residential projects like Bahria Town with international standards are exemplary and are also recognized globally.
KITE Limited CEO Zubair Chhaya said that Malir Expressway is being constructed to connect Bahria Town with the city, which will start from Jam Sadiq Bridge connecting Bahria Town and DHA City Phase 9. He said that Malir Expressway will be a game changer for Karachi. This will facilitate the access of Bahria Town to Korangi Industrial Area and also improve the connectivity of Bahria Town to the city.
On this occasion, Bilal Talib, head of the delegation of real estate agents visiting under the direction of Bahria Town Country Head Shahid Mehmood Qureshi said that Bahria Town will start cleaning and begin other social activities in the city in collaboration with KATI.
After the construction of the Malir Expressway, the industrialists of Korangi can have safe accommodation in Bahria Town. He said that there is a need to promote the real estate sector in the country because 72 more industries are affiliated with this sector. He said that soon KATI President Faraz-ur-Rehman and his team will visit Bahria Town and jointly sign projects as per their suggestions.
