In order to enhance Quality of education in medical institutions, Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar has directed all the affiliated institutions to prepare and submit Self-Assessment Report (SAR) of their respective institutions/program(s).
In this regards, a capacity building workshop was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell in the conference room of GKMC-MTI.
The workshop was attended by the faculty members including professor and assistant professors nominated from basic and clinical sciences. Mr. Saeed Afsar Assistant Manager Quality Assurance was a focal person for the workshop. This was the first workshop from a series of such workshops to be conducted every week.
In the inaugural session of the workshop, the Dean MTI-GKMC/BKMC Swabi, Prof Dr. Shams-Ur-Rahman, emphasized on the importance of Quality Enhancement as one of the key factor for competing at national as well as international level.
The Dean/CEO urged the participants to strive for attaining and maintaining the criteria and standards set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The Director QEC Dr. Mohammad Khalid thanked the Dean for providing all necessary support for establishment and initiation of routine activities of Quality Enhancement Cell at MTI-GKMC/BKMC Swabi.
