Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL) is a leading financial institution in Pakistan, which recently organized another Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, to celebrate the “International Day of Rural Women”.
The bank salutes the resilience and contribution of rural women and believes that women in rural areas can increase their productivity and earnings by learning and developing new skills.
Therefore, a “Stitching Training Program” for women was organized at Chak 367 Jalianwala, in Tehseel Gojra of Punjab. It was held in collaboration with a prestigious NGO – “Society for Human-Development”.
The theme for this year’s International Day for Rural Women was: ‘Rural women – Cultivating good food for all’.
Through this initiative, KMBL will recognize the hard-work and heroic achievements of these rural women, who are making valuable contributions in the society.
This renowned microfinance institution has always been at the forefront of creating equal growth opportunities for all, especially the economically-deprived people in the rural regions of Pakistan.
At the end of the Stitching Training Program, KMBL presented gifts to the women as a token of appreciation for their participation in this insightful program.
