A KFC outlet in Pakistan was torched and razed to ground by a group of unknown people amid ongoing calls for boycotting international food chain over links to Israel amid Gaza war.
The incident occurred in an area of Mirpur, Kashmir, where police also reportedly fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
Images and videos circulating on social media shows flames have covered the KFC Pakistan’s restaurant as people running out of the place to escape the fire.
The motive behind the attack is yet to known as there is no official statement from police and the food chain in this regard.
KFC Pakistan is the franchise of KFC which operates more than 120 locations across Pakistan.
There have been calls for boycotting KFC Pakistan for months after Israel started pounding Gaza with missiles, leaving thousands of people dead.
