President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry(KATI) Saleem-uz-Zaman has urged provincial minister for local bodies Nasir Hussain Shah to take immediate notice of transfer of a water supply hydrant from Landhi to Ahsanabad, under alleged pressure by some elements.

He said that this hydrant is the only alternative of water supply for the large number of residents in Korangi, DHA and industry.

He said that while this facility provides water to industry in case of unavailability of supply form Dhabeji Pumping station.

He said that it was learned there is huge pressure by some elements for transferring this hydrant from Landhi to Ahsanabad and if this takes place, it will directly affect production of numerous industries in Korangi.

He said that administrative decision should not be taken under vested interest, this is the key reason of our system failure.
