On the 81st Pakistan Day of the beloved homeland, enthusiastic steps have been taken by the Karachi Railways, the main purpose of which is to remember the leaders of the freedom struggle and express heartfelt solidarity with them.
In this regard, various banners have been hung on all the stations of Karachi Division highlighting the statements of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the sacrifices of Pakistani forces, Indian oppression in occupied Kashmir and the cultural heritage of the country.
The Cantt Station has been beautifully illuminated with decorative lights and banners will also be hung on the bogies of passenger trains departing from the Station on March 23. Apart from this, a Scout walk has also been arranged on II Chandragar Road.
On the occasion, Divisional Superintendent Muhammad Hanif Gul has said that there are passionate feelings and emotions associated with Pakistan Day which is celebrated in a grand manner every year.
He further said that Karachi Railways had made full arrangements to celebrate Pakistan Day in a traditional and cultural way this year but it had to be canceled due to increasing Corona virus cases.
