The parliamentarian leader and Jamiat Ulema e Islam Fazal (JUI-F) member National Assembly Molana Asad Mahmood Monday rejected any change in the 18th amendment and National Financial Commission (NFC) Award saying the government will have to face unpredicted resistance at national level if any change is made.
Addressing the meeting of JUI-F district Majlis e Shura (Statutory Body) here at JUI-F office, Molona Asad Mahmood said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government attempt to revisit the 18th amendment and reduction of in provincial share under NFC Award will not be tolerated at any cost.
He said JUI-F and other opposition parties would observe “Black Day” on 25th July against the alleged rigging of July 25, 2018 general Elections. Asad Mahmood urged the need for the construction of Tank Zam Dam for the uplift and prosperity of Tank and complained that the sitting federal government was deliberately pushing down the constituencies of opposition members for political point scoring. He announced to launch “Awami Rabta Muhim (Public Relations Campaign)” after Eid ul Adha to unveil the real face of PTI government.
