Jamaat-e-Islami’s Emir Sirajul Haq on Sunday stated that they would continue to struggle for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine until their last breath.
Sirajul Haq said that the people of Palestine and Kashmir were looking towards them, and the rivers coming from Kashmir to Pakistan were blood-stained today.
He expressed these words while addressing a rally held in Lahore on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day on Monday. Sirajul Haq said that “there are hundreds of rulers in the Muslim world, if there was someone like Salahuddin Ayubi among them, today our Kashmiri and Palestinian brothers would not have been trapped in the chains of slavery. Kashmiris say they are with Pakistan,”.
He said that the gathering for the rally is an expression of new solidarity with Palestine and Kashmir, the enthusiasm among women is commendable. He said, “today’s gathering is a new solidarity with the people of Kashmir,”. He wished the local leaders had the kind of passion which the women had today for the freedom of the people of Kashmir. “The Kashmiries have been longing for freedom for the last 76 years,” he added.
