Jamia Binoria Al-Alamia hosted a farewell ceremony in honor of the Consul General of Indonesia Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat. The event, organized by the head of Jamia Binoria, Dr. Nauman Naeem, saw participation from the Consul General of Thailand, Narut Soontarodom, businessman Zeeshan Loya, and Indonesian students. In his address, Dr. June Kuncoro expressed his gratitude to Dr. Nauman Naeem for the honor and highlighted the deep religious, cultural, and historical ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.
He noted the strong educational collaboration between the two countries, with thousands of Pakistani students studying in Indonesian universities and many Indonesian students pursuing education in Pakistan.
Dr. Kuncoro appreciated the home-like educational environment provided by Jamia Binoria for Indonesian students and shared his heartfelt experiences during his tenure in Pakistan, vowing to maintain these connections even after returning home.
Dr. Nauman Naeem praised Dr. June Kuncoro’s role in strengthening diplomatic relations, educational exchanges, and economic cooperation between Indonesia and Pakistan. He acknowledged the hard work and talent of Indonesian students at Jamia Binoria and thanked Dr. Kuncoro for his consistent support. Thai Consul General Narut Soontarodom commended Jamia Binoria’s educational contributions and discussed the robust relations between Thailand and Pakistan.
The ceremony also included notable figures such as members of the Indonesian Consulate, Jamia Binoria’s foreign department director Sheikh Furqan, Director of Kulliyatul Hadith Dr. Muhammad Sarwada, and Mufti Zain Hassan Feroz, along with Indonesian students enrolled at Jamia Binoria.
