A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry on mutual cooperation and joint ventures for the promotion of industrial and commercial sectors and research activities.
The agreement was signed by Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Waheed-ud-Din, President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Agreements are being made for cooperation and partnership in trade and commerce as holding the Bahawalpur Trade Fair at the Cholistan Jeep Rally in collaboration with the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has become an annual tradition.
On the occasion, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Islamia University of Bahawalpur is one of the top universities in country and is doing significant work in the fields of agriculture, engineering, veterinary and business.
The two institutes will collaborate on research, joint ventures, training and skill development to produce experts for the local industry and market.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will participate in the annual industrial exhibition in Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
