Chairman and CEO of Pakistan Observer Mr Faisal Zahid Malik called on Ambassador of Palestine Mr Ahmed Rabei at the Palestine embassy to condemn Israel’s brutalities against the Palestinians and to express solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Chairman and CEO of Pakistan Observer, Mr Faisal Zahid Malik has expressed grief over the death of thousands of innocent Palestinians in brutal attack by Israel forces in the ongoing assault on the occu-pied territories of Palestine.

Israel must respect International Laws and Geneva Conventions that ensure the protection of civilians especially in the conflict zones. Mr Faisal Zahid Malik expressed these views during a call-on meet-ing with Ambassador of Palestine, Ahmed Rabei at the Palestine embassy.

He discussed and condoled with the ambassador deaths of the Palestinian people including children, women and the elderly people in the last ten days. There is a humanitarian tragedy prevailing in Pales-tine as a result of Israel’s siege of Gaza. The unwarranted siege of Gaza is turning into a grave crisis which has put the lives of thousands of Palestinians at a risk of starvation and genocide, said Mr Faisal Zahid Malik and urged the interna-tional community, the UN, the EU and other global forums to use their influence and force Israel to immediately halt indiscriminate bombings and in-humane siege of Gaza. While writing in the Visitor’s Book, Mr Faisal Za-hid Malik held that it was simply unimaginable to think of the plight of the besieged Palestinians. He called for restoration of the supply of water, food, essential medical aid in Gaza. He also emphasized immediate ceasefire in order to avert the prevailing humanitarian crisis in the re-gion. Pakistan Observer has always been a strong voice for the cause of Palestine and reiterates un-flinching support for the people of Palestinians.

While expressing his gratitude to the Chairman and CEO of Pakistan Observer, Ambassador Ahmed Rabei emphasized the need for unity in Ummah and immediate halt to the attacks.

We value Pakistan’s unequivocal moral, diplomatic and political support and hope it will play its role in the ceasefire, he said.
