Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Pakistan weather update for weekend

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Friday evening/night and during the weekend.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Friday evening/night and the next two days. Freezing weather is expected in the upper parts of the country during the period.
Islamabad’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 08-10 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 09-11 C on Sunday.
Rawalpindi’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 09-11 C on Saturday and 10-12 C on Sunday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in the twin cities and most parts of the country during the last 24 hours.
Kalam remained the coldest place in the country where the temperature dropped 07 C below freezing.
In Islamabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 08 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 78 per cent.
In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature was recorded at 09 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 68 per cent.
