As per the synoptic situation, a westerly wave will likely enter Balochistan on Sunday night. It will likely grip the upper parts of Pakistan on Monday.

Under these conditions, rain-wind/thunderstorms with few heavy falls, isolated hailstorms and snowfall over the hills are likely in the twin cities, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Photohar region, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas on Sunday evening/night and the next two days.

Snowfall may cause the closure of roads in north Balochistan. Heavy falls may cause flash flooding in local nullahs/streams in Gwadar, Ketch, Panjgur and Awaran districts on Monday. Snowfall may disrupt traffic in Murree, Galyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch and Haveli on Monday evening/night and Tuesday.
