With stock markets having already factored in US president-elect Joe Biden’s recent win, investors are now seeking to move past it and watch out for more vaccine-related developments.
Global investors are weighing the chances of another market jolt from more vaccine-related news after a melt up in equities this week followed the news from Pfizer Inc. and German partner BioNTech SE. The bar was raised for markets to rally following an announcement by Pfizer that its vaccine protected 90 per cent of Covid-19 cases in a study, investors and strategists said.
